In 3 months, Lesanne lost over a stone in weight and runs faster at 400m, 800m and 1K training distances. Lesanne has had PBs, doing a half marathon in 1:57 and a 10K in 49.09! Lesanne has since beat her 10K PB with 46.05 - excellent work Lesanne. Lesanne had weekly sessions, one week focused on speedwork and the other on weights conditioning and core strength and stability. Lesanne kept a daily food diary that Julie gave feedback on weekly.
'I started running 4 years ago, at first I improved very quickly, however over the past year I had began to get slower even though I was doing a lot of exercise. In fact, I had put on weight again and become very unmotivated wtih my training and my diet. I decided to book some sessions with Julie to give me some help and motivation. She gave me the encouragement and motivation I needed to achieve the desired results. Julie has a 'can do' attitude that helps you push yourself to achieve any exercise she gives you. I have not increased the amount of time I spend exercising, I just use my time more efficiently. I have now lost almost a stone and feel so much fitter and owe it to Julie's knowledge and enthusiasm.'
Lesanne still enjoys weekly training sessions with Julie for motivation and also comes to running groups to meet other runners.
