about ME

I believe in a holistic approach to mental and physical wellness

About Julie

My name is Julie Simpson and I have over 25 years experience in the health and fitness field and am very passionate about helping people get more from their lives, both physically and mentally!  My journey began when I worked as a part-time gym instructor (for 7 years) at Hamilton Water Palace, whilst working full-time in Environmental Health.

I've worked in GGNHS board as a Health Promotion Officer for workplaces and as an Occupational Health and Safety Trainer in Diageo before setting up my own business 17 years ago.

Experience

As a single parent to 3 teenagers I'm well rehearsed on how full and challenging our lives can be.  I'm at an age where menopause is very much an experience and journey to another chapter in life, and so have plenty understanding on how to navigate health and wellbeing during this time.

My passion for wellbeing runs through everything I do.  I bring my reiki learnings into almost all my sessions with groups and 1-2-1, even online.

I love the outdoors and the healing and freedom from being in nature whether climbing mountains, running, cycling or dipping in the lochs.

In the past I've ran marathons and done triathlons and might still have one more in me yet!
