Regardless of how stressed or anxious I am due to the daily pressures of life, I leave these sessions with greater clarity and a sense of complete relaxation. My 16 year old daughter had 2 reiki sessions with Julie on the run up to her exams, and I can’t recommend Julie enough. 


My daughter was feeling anxious and overwhelmed with the exam stress, and after the first session with Julie she felt as if a huge weight had been lifted from her, and she was much calmer and felt her mind was clear. 


She was able to go into her exams in a much calmer place.

Can I just recommend Julie's reiki level one course. I've been practicing regularly after completing level 1 and I feel a real difference in myself. I'm not reacting so quickly/badly to unexpected things and I'm feeling more grateful and appreciative of everything in my life. Zahra Khalid - reiki for stress management


I recently had a Reiki session with Julie after months of clenching my jaw and dealing with really severe fatigue, and it honestly helped a lot. I’d been holding so much tension for so long that I’d almost forgotten what it felt like to properly relax.


Julie created a calm, comfortable space and made me feel at ease straight away. Her approach was gentle and intuitive, and I could feel some of that built-up stress starting to ease during the session. I went to a total meditative state. The change in my jaw wasn’t instant, but over the next few days I noticed it gradually felt more relaxed and less tight.


I also started to feel a shift in my energy. The fatigue that had been dragging me down felt lighter, and overall I just felt more balanced and like myself again.


I’m really grateful to Julie for her care and support, and I’d definitely recommend her Reiki sessions to anyone who’s feeling tense, overwhelmed, or in need of some proper rest and reset.

I had the most amazing reiki session with Julie on Friday night. It had been a long hard week at work and I felt so much calmer in body and mind immediately afterwards. The reiki and relaxation sessions are the highlight of my week. Julie is such good energy to be around. Calm, nurturing and the very essence of peace. The sessions have helped me no end and continue to do so. I’ve met such lovely people whilst attending and dare I say as well as being so relaxing, it’s also good fun too (especially the wee chin wag afterwards ). I had my first, but certainly not my last, 1-1 yoga session with Julie on Monday and I can't recommend enough. Julie is so lovely and warm and you feel right at home in her lovely yoga space.

I first went to see Julie for a few PT sessions after losing my dad. I found her understanding and motivating and the sessions with her were just what I needed at the time. She was so understanding of what I was going through, and I immediately felt I could trust her.


Fast forward a good few months, being back at work and caught in the busy routines of life, I wanted to seriously start working on my health. I was beginning to think that, being over 40, I just wasn’t going to be able to shift any weight as nothing I was doing seemed to work. I got in touch with Julie and I am so glad I did! Her advise on nutrition was so simple and easy to follow, but has been a real game changer. She pushes me hard, but is so motivating that you find yourself pushing much harder than you ever thought you could! And when you reach those small goals, she is so genuinely delighted for you.

I have so far lost 15 pounds since going to Julie, but more than that I feel much more healthy and strong and have noticed a difference in my shape. I have attended Julie's 1st Level Reiki course. It was an amazing experience and I learned a great deal. I loved her delivery of this course and the day was just fantastic. Leighann Armstrong- teenage anxiety and reiki


My daughter Sarah was very stressed about her exams. She wasn't sleeping well, very tense muscles especially her neck. She also had terrible headaches. Today with the help of reiki and yoga she feels de-stressed, relaxed, uplifted and pain free.


You really have worked wonders and today has also opened her mind. She wants to do more yoga and will certainly be back to see you for more reiki.


I would highly recommend this to anyone, but especially to your teens who are going through so much stress.

I regularly get a reiki session from Julie. With a pressurised job and young demanding family I find these sessions balance me mentally, physically and spiritually.


Things seem clearer, calmer and energy levels are higher. Aside from Julie's pleasant sense of calm, her ability to help others achieve more from life is very refreshing indeed.

I started with Julie 4 months ago when I was at my heaviest and most unfit, having had a baby 4 months prior. As a result of her PT I'm now fitter than I've ever been - having just completed a 10K! In terms of my weight, I'm also where i want to be having dropped 2 dress sizes. 


As part of the PT sessions Julie will offer nutrition advice which is helpful. I also go to her Saturday morning circuits class which is fab and is for all levels.

James Scott - 1-2-1 yoga


I always wanted to try yoga but I think as a man, I kept telling myself not to. Wasn't I wrong. My partner was so supportive and pushed me to go and now I go every week.


The difference in myself that myself and partner notices really shows the yoga sessions are working. Sometimes I feel myself getting worked up and stressed at life. Once I get to my weekly session. I again feel like a new person. Not only Is the yoga helping my mind the stretches are also helping me with working out.


I highly recommend Julie to be your instructor, made me feel at ease every session, I now find myself coming home and doing yoga to relieve stress from a days work and when life gets a little manic.



Corporate CBT Referral


I was struggling with some depression and anxiety. While working with Julie we looked at some of my suppressed childhood events that I hadn't spoken about before. I had not realised this needed some attention.


Talking about this has made me move forward. Julie is really easy to talk to and non-judgmental. We practised some techniques like mindfulness and how to do a gratitude journal.


This helped me make sense of what I had going on and reflect on what was good in my life. I am very grateful to Julie for work we have done over the last few months.

Maggies Forth Valley - Yoga classes


My husband passed away in February last year and I was advised by the Maggies Center to attend the Yoga class which would help me relax, unwind and feel good - I didn't really have much hope for that! However from day one, Julie inspired me with her kind and caring nature.


Her expertise in breathing, relaxing and yoga postures are just perfect for me. Julie seems to have an 'aura' around her that you want to be like her, calmness, soft spoken and lovely. Even if you are having a bad day, Julie will talk to you and inspire you with her words. I think she is just awesome.


The ladies and gentlemen who also attend the class are also amazing. Each and everyone of them are going through different types of health issues but we have all become firm friends whereupon we laugh and cry together.


I now love YOGA and would recommend anyone to take it upon themselves to try a class of two and see the benefits.I feel I can breathe better, feel less stressed and can tackle anything.


I also feel much happier and calmer and I thank Julie for that.



Margaret Adams - CBT Therapy


Despite a successful career and happy relationship, I was left with the residue of fear and insecurity from previous issues in my life.


I had met Julie through her yoga classes and always found her to be calm, non judgmental and gentle. Cognitive behavioural therapy with Julie proved this to be the case. With a mixture of reflective discussion and homework tasks, we were able to navigate the causes of my issues and more importantly create straightforward and simple strategies for me to use when feeling unsure.


Within a few weeks I found myself feeling more positive, confident and happy in my day to day life. I am using the strategies regularly as a preemptive measure. Since then, a number of friends and colleagues have commented that I appear more confident and happy in all aspects of my life.


My favourite comment was from a life long friend who said I had rediscovered my authentic self.
